Want to have some winter fun but don’t want to ski or snowboard? Then come on up and enjoy some pure tubular fun.
Where Do I Get My Tubing Pass?
Passes can be purchased at the Guest Services Office.
Tubing costs $10 an hour per rider.
Tubing runs from 10:00 AM – 4 PM at every hour.
Tubes and tubing access are all included with your purchased pass.
Sorry, you cannot use your own sleds or tubes.
Tubing is available on a first come, first serve basis and space is limited so make sure you reserve your spot early!
SNO PLAY AREA at TAMARACK LODGE AT BEAR VALLEY — $20 per car 10 am to 5 pm. Use of restrooms, use kitchen with microwave and hot water – self service snack $1 to $5- common room with gas fire place, indoor and outside picnic area.

Rooms open at Tamarack Lodge at Bear Valley thru Feb 16th (we are full on Feb 17th and 18th) to the remainer of the ski season.
Book online via our web site and get the best rates of the season!!! Currently accepting single night stays over the weekends! New individual Bunk rental – each bed cost $30 – bring your own sleeping bag and towels. Each room has access to our common room kitchen that is fully equipped. We still have some snow for sno play and the Bear Valley ski area is doing a tremendous job making snow with 5 lift currently running – backside- frontside-right side and left side- Lifts running should be Moke Express or Kuma, Cub, Super Cub and Koala as well as the Magic Carpet!!! Conditions are a variety of man made snow, natural snow and the best grooming in the Central Sierra’s.
Music both days at the Resort and in the evening down in the Village.
Saturday night Crab Feed – 6 pm – at the Perry Walter Building. Tickets $15 to $45 (spaghetti, crab and or trip tip). Tickets can be bought at the Bear Valley Cross Country, Bear Valley Re estate and Bear Valley Library.

Yes we have snow on our sno play hill!!! Day are very pleasant but we really still have snow. Even more than over the Christmas Holiday. Not like last year, but enough to play, sled, tube, xc ski, down hill ski, snowmobile and have FUN in the SUN!!! Roads are clear, easy driving. It is a beautiful “blue bird” day in the Central High Sierra’s. We still have room over the Presidents Holiday weekend – weekend, week -prior and after too!!! So book now

It’s Time to Ride Mokelumne Express!!
It’s official. We are ready to open our new 6-pack chair and could not be more excited to share this monumental occasion with you!
Make plans to join us on Saturday, Jan 13th for one last ride on Kuma chair, then get ready to take a ride to Bear Top on the Mokelumne Express on its inaugural opening day. Thanks to the 5 inches of snow that fell this week along with continued snowmaking efforts and a committed lift installation team, we are ready to go!
Kuma will kick off the day projected to take you to Bear Top starting at 9 am. The last ride on Kuma will occur before the christening of Mokelumne Express.
At 1 pm join us at the Mokelumne Express loading terminal for a christening ceremony to welcome this exciting new high-speed lift to the Skyline Bear Valley Family. Then be sure to stay for the fireworks and family fun planned after the lifts stop turning, Click here for more on activities.
