January 4th, 2018 – It has been a great two weeks for SNO play, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and just having fun. The California Central Sierra had a great snow base which lead to one of the most busiest holiday period in many years. And the fun and good conditions continue… snow come on January 5th for a few days will set everything into motion for a great start for 2018. Tamarack Lodge continues to welcome families and individuals with it unique style of lodging. Here is the update as of July 20, 2018 on the Smoke Situation on Ebbetts Pass. Tamarack Lodge at Bear Valley has had hazy days. It gets better in the afternoon when the wind blows. Most of the smoke is coming from the Ferguson Fire but also from some smaller fires in the Stanislaus National Forest.
